Destruction!

We have the building permit, and demolition has begun in preparation for the renovation of our new building!

This area will be our new customer lounge. There will be plenty of room to relax, read a magazine, and catch up on your Internet browsing on your smart phone (yes, there will be free WiFi).

The restrooms will be much larger as well, even if we have to move a wall and a pillar or two!

Upstairs, they're starting to remove the tile on the showroom floor. There will be lots of room for new vehicle displays, and the new tile pattern is going to be really eye catching.

This has been a long process already, but we're excited to take a course that will have very little inconvenience for our customers. When the renovation is complete, we will just move next door instead of working in a construction zone for months.

Since we won't be working in the new building yet (and it won't be open to the public), this blog will be one of the best ways to keep updated on what's going on next door!

Big Announcement for the New Year

Exciting changes are in store for Clason Buick GMC in 2013!
We're excited to officially announce that we will be renovating the building next door in preparation to move over there mid-year. This new space will provide more room and conveniences for our customers and employees.

In the mean time, we'll have lots of updates in this blog and on our facebook page. Be sure to bookmark this page or follow us on facebook to stay up to date on all our news.

Sign Removal!

This week, the old "Ray Hutson" sign came down from the front of the building!

If you recall, we previously had a Clason banner over the top of it.

And now it's officially down!

Priming the New Shop

We're working away at the new building. This week, we pressure washed the walls of the shop.
Then we started priming the walls to get them ready for a fresh coat of paint.

We're bringing the building back to life and it is looking awesome!

Thanks to our fantastic staff for all their hard work on this project!

First Look: Shop

Our next, and last stop for now, is the shop.

All the lifts had been removed prior to the purchase of the building.

Off of the shop, there are a few side rooms; like this one which was used as a wash area.

First Look: Parts Room

Our next stop on the before tour is the Parts Room.

We enter the parts area through this doorway,

into the Parts Retail room.

Then we continue on into the Parts Storage room.

It needs some cleaning as there were lots of boxes left behind, but look at all this open space!

Saturday Service Hours

We are excited to announce Saturday Service Department hours!

As an added customer convenience, we are now offering Saturday Service Hours. Our Service Department will be open from 8:30 am - 1 pm beginning this Saturday, August 23.
And as always, our Sales Dept will be open from 8:30 am - 4 pm.

First Look: Showroom

We know you're all eager to see what it looks like inside our new acquisition. And we aim to please!

But first, let's just preface this by saying that it needs some work. It has been empty for three years.

Our first (and only) stop for today is the showroom -

Entering through the west side showroom door, 

these offices are on your right,

and the main expanse of the showroom is ahead.

It's very open with lots of windows and light to display our great products!

More Space!

How much new space are we talking about? 

Well, our current lot is 2.745 acres, while the new lot is 4.27 acres!

This overhead shot will give you a better idea of what we're working with since our acquisition of next door. At the top is the Clason Buick GMC building, and the bottom has the new property (former Hutson's dealership).

Our existing building is 17,010 square feet,
